Since early on in high school, Blake Cranford knew he wanted to have a career involving art in one way or another. He explored routes such as attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, with a major in Graphic Design. Fortunately, he stopped attending after one year of school.
After getting tattooed one day, Blake starting looking more and more into the Tattoo industry, and very quickly became enthralled in the culture and history of tattooing. In April 2012, he started his apprenticeship. In 2013, Blake became a licensed tattoo artist in the state of Arkansas. But soon after, he left to join the Black Cobra family, and has remained there ever since.
He practices multiple styles of tattooing, including Neotraditional, new school, illustrative, lettering and sometimes realism.
Blake enjoys eating anything that doesn’t contain vegetables, drawing, but most of all traveling and getting to tattoo all around the nation.
He takes tattooing every tattoo very seriously, and tries to make every tattoo he does better than the last. Making sure that every tattoo is custom and never replicated or copied from another, so that every client leaves with their own, custom tattoo. Blake looks forward to taking care of every client that comes in, and will treat them with respect; hoping that everyone leaves completely satisfied with the tattoo they receive.
With tattoos becoming more and more popular around the world, the possibilities are endless. Being able to take this anywhere he wants to in the world was one of the biggest factors of choosing a career like tattooing.
